Now that you know a bit more about how to connect electronically and electronic devices, let's talk about some of the positive and negative parts of electronic devices.
As you may know, electronic devices have a lot of uses, some good, and some bad. An example of the positive parts would be, like we said before, being able to talk to people you know easily. On the other hand, a negative part would be, for example the addictive nature of electronic devices. There are various other positive and negative parts to electronic devices, and while some may be easy to spot, others may be a little hard to notice.

Instructions:
- Read the story carefully.
- Look any unknown word in the dictionary.
-Identify some positives uses of technology and others negative one.
After reading the story, complete some comprehensive questions.
1. What are some good ways to use a cellphones that are mentioned in the story?
a. Use it to do homework.
b. Listen to music.
c. Chat with others.
d. Play outside
2. What are some negative aspects found in the story?
a. Susan did her homework using her cellphone.
b. Susan did not pay attention to her parents.
c. Susan used social media.
d. Susan did not play outside with her friends anymore.
Note: Electronic devices can be useful for many situation as educational tasks, and communicate with other who live far away. However, the appropriate use of it can cause problems while interacting face to face with others.
If you have used any of the devices you have learned about in the past, you can probably point out some of the good aspects and some of the bad aspects of them. Think for instance about the last device you used, did you like it? If yes, what made you like it so much? If not, why not?
You were probably able to point out some of the things you like or dislike about your last device. With these ideas in your mind, try the following activity:
Write 3 positive sentences and 3 negative sentences about any device you own.
Here are some example sentences to give you an idea of what you should try to do:
"I like to use my television because it has a lot of funny shows".
"I hate using my watch because it always makes me nervous!".
Were you able to come up with 6? If not, that's fine, as long as you were able to write a few in which you expressed your ideas properly
