Conclusion

To close this theme, here are some closing thoughts.

First, it's important to notice the role that electronic devices have in our day to day life. During all the exercises, you most likely were able to identify some devices you know and use. The functions that these electronic devices provide to help us connect with others are very impressive.

During this topic you did some activities in which you learned a bit about comparing objects, in this case electronic devices, as well as a bit about writing simple structures. These abilities will be helpful to you in the future, as they will make it easier to generate both conversation and sentences for future assignments you will be presented with.

Hopefully you were also able to point out some of the upsides and downsides of utilizing electronic devices, or some of the good and bad parts of devices. Expressing your thoughts is a good way to explain how you feel about something and it's also an important skill to learn.

Finally, we hope you enjoyed this topic and the way it was presented. If you have any questions, contact your teacher.

Thank you.

If you have used any of the devices you have learned about in the past, you can probably point out some of the good aspects and some of the bad aspects of them. Think for instance about the last device you used, did you like it? If yes, what made you like it so much? If not, why not?

You were probably able to point out some of the things you like or dislike about your last device. With these ideas in your mind, try the following activity:

First, let's explain the title. To connect electronically is to interact with others by using technology. You can use technology in a great variety of ways to communicate. For example, you can use a cellphone to text or call your friends. You can also use cellphones as a conversation topic, or something you talk about. Let's say for example that your parents buy you a new phone, you can talk about it with your friends by telling them about the cool new features it has and comparing it with theirs. This way you can connect with your friends and other people electronically.

Now, let's talk about some examples of electronic devices. In this blog you will be able to find a video in which we very quickly talk about some of them. In the video you will also see some devices you may be familiar with, and you may even own some of them. Click the following link to watch the video. [Electronic devices].

After you have watched the video, think about how many of the 8 devices you have owned. Do you still own them? Or maybe you know someone who owns them?

Here's a little exercise for you to try out:

Write and complete the following sentences by adding anything that is missing from them.

1. Cellphone/cheap/than/computer.

2. Headphone/use/listen.

3. Brother/own/laptop.
